A direct evolution of the ever popular HardCap™ A1+, the HardCap AeroLite™ represents the forefront of innovation within the JSP head protection range, providing complete protection in its category by conforming to and complying with the requirements of the EN812:2012 Standard.

Developed and refined by JSP Ltd.´s in-house Research and Development department the HardCap AeroLite™ weighs less than 135g without compromising on performance. Consistently passing and exceeding EN 812 impact tests the HardCap AeroLite™ is the best performing lightweight bump cap on the market.

Designed as a safeguard against accidental bumping or scraping of the head, for use in areas where safety helmets are NOT required. Bump caps can be suitable for use in situations where stationary structures pose a risk to the head, such as working around low ceilings, pipework, or on an automated production line.

Bump caps are NOT designed for use in AS/NZS 1801 designated helmet areas.

Comfort
The HardCap Aerolite™ features large open weaved panels, allowing easy transfer of cool air, and a washable foam pad for enhanced comfort and improved fit.

Completely Lightweight
Weighing less than 135g without compromising safety HardCap AeroLite™ is made using a lightweight EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) impact liner combined with a tough HDPE shell. All wrapped in a lightweight baseball style outer cap.

Clean Odourless
The HardCap Aerolite™ sweatband and comfort pad feature Polygiene® StayFresh™, an anti-bacterial technology that acts as an internal deodorant counteracting the development of unpleasant odours. Thanks to its hygienic function it effectively prevents bacterial proliferation by increasing freshness and comfort of the fabric in contact with skin greatly reducing the risk of contact dermatitis. Polygiene® has a UK Class 1 medical certificate and offers a life-time guarantee for odour control.

Quick Drying
The integrated sweatband is designed to be moisture wicking allowing liquids to spread out across the fabric increasing the rate of evaporation.

Reflective Areas
Reflective areas on the side panels of the cover and reflective piping around the peak provide extra visibility and improved safety in low-light conditions.

Repels Water
To add increased resistance to staining the stylish baseball cap outer lining has been treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating that allows water to bead and roll off of the cap.

Easy Maintenance
The HardCap Aerolite™ cover and comfort pad are machine washable. Replacements are available to extend product life further.

We use Polygiene® on this product to help keep it fresh and odourless.
